KIDS CAN KNIT

Kids can learn how to make basic knitting stitches at a very early age.  We recommend this class for children ages 5-12 years old.  

Knitting is an excellent way to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and ability to focus.  

Participants will learn how to hold and manipulate knitting needles to create a basic knit stitch.  There will be opportunities to use different textured yarns with different size and style knitting needles. 

Class fee includes:

• 1 1/2 hour group lesson with instructor

• Use of classroom tools and yarn for sampling

• $20 gift card to purchase supplies of your choice after the class session
